You can relax after work, no need do the housework and you can save the time enjoying with the kids. You can earn more money for your shopping or save it for the kids... And you can enjoy the jobs.
I have 印傭 since my baby just new borned till this year July. My daugher now is 2 1/2. I think maybe we are lucky, our 印傭 is very reliable and very good to my baby. We just change to use 菲傭 since my 印傭 cannot speak very well Eng. But she can understand 80% Cantonese. Cantones speaking is not very good.
Now 菲傭 also good, I think is depends whether you are lucky when you do the selection. But I don't belive the helper from overseas, I must see face by face for interview. Both of them, I also thorugh the agency. Even the agency fee is quite expensive 印傭 HKD 4000, & 菲傭 HKD 2000. If they are OK, it's no problem. It better you ask for replacement from overseas. Since I have bad experience, 1 菲傭 from oversea. She have 2 year working experience in Sing. But when she work for 1 week, I found the house is not enough clean and cooking is no good even I take annual leave teach her for 1 week.
Cos you cannot check the refernce from ex-boss in HK. If you find the helper in HK, yuo can call their ex-boss to check how is the helper and why not continue the cobtract....
1. 菲傭 sure not like sleep in the living room, even share with the bbay they can accept. I think 印傭 can accept, but you must explain before sign the contract.
2. Don't It against the law. The maid must stay the add that you signed the contarct. If they complalints to IMMgration, you will have big big problem. Most 菲傭 will complicants, 印傭 maybe not complicants.
3. Maybe can do, you can discuss or pay some money for compensation.
4. OK, you can buy the travel insurance, not expensive. But now the Chinese Visa application fee is expensive tha last year.
P.S. If you don't mind 印傭 not speaking very well Cantoness, maybe is better consider. Some of 印傭 from Sing. they can speak very good Eng. But you must find a very good agency.
