I did a little research on the net about using dummy.
I was thinking about not to give my son dummy before he was born.
However, when he was crying hard and didnt sleep at nite, I gave him dummy when he was two weeks old.
He then wanted to have the dummy when he wanted to sleep.
My nurse told me that the dummy wont do him any harm unless I let him suck for a long time (more than an hour) or I dont feed him but giving him a dummy.
It wont affect baby's teeth unless you let baby use it after one.
Most of the babies here will not use a dummy after 1.
My son didnt want a dummy when he was 3 months.
I then threw away all dummies and not giving it to him since.
He forgets the dummy totally which my nurse said that babies will forget things totally if you dont give it to him anymore before 4 months.
Well, I m not sure what she said is right but it is the case for my son.
