I think it's better to keepcongee in the refrigerator and reheat for the 2nd meal than to keep thecongee warm until the 2nd meal. Germs grow fast when food is warm.
I have not yet started to give fish. But I will start with 鯇魚 as it'sbones are easy to remove. Salmon is deep sea fish and may containtrace of heavy metals which I will avoid until b is perhaps 2 years old.
