take it easy, as my friend who is working in 瑪麗醫院 as a doctor, he told me that they will not allow 實習醫生開刀, it must a senior doctor (may be with one 實習醫生, not sure).
I also had a 刮宮 in 贊育 four years ago, u will not have any pain.

are u sure y need to do 手術? let me share my story:
when i 1st pregnant, i was told that i had a fribord (肌廇??)about 5x4cm. it was nothing i could do (as long as it did not getting too big)..... 9 mths after i laboured my baby girl
thereafter, i thought that 廇 was disappeared ( it is quite common after labour).
3 yrs after, i preg again, but coupled with that 廇 - 9x8 cm big (like a grapefruit size!!!). Thank God, it was quite stable & did not get any bigger and i had a baby boy by Ceasar last Dec. But it was stressful expreience, particularly to a 高齡產婦
6 months after, the obe(婦科) told me the 廇 was much smaller.
another 6 months it return at large size again!
what I want to say is, somtimes it may be too early to happy/sorrow, we need to be patience. 生命是很奇妙的, baby knows when it the right time to come to u, please don't upset too much, just take it as life.

I think your situation is quite luckily compare to me !
Because I have miscarrage when 8 weeks !
I think the reason to explain our different result is the fibroid growing different location at the uterus.
But I still believe that "life is wonderful" & baby knows when it the right time to come to us, so we don't need to upset too much, just take it easy as life.
