Electrolux Perfect Care 700. Bought 2 year ago. Called my 3rd or 4th maintenance service just now - lost my count.
Practically "erfect Care" doesn't mean the machine will take perfect care of your laundry. It means you need to take perfect care of the machine like it's a princess.
For the record, it is the WORST washing machine I have ever seen.
Now it takes me 30-40 MINUTES EVERYDAY just to get the machine start operating:
1. make sure no laundry could touch the inner door
2. put in as much laundry as possible
3. test and find the balance between the above two (a safe option is to fill in the machine by half only)
4. bang the outer door close like you want to kill it
5. press the "start" button and quickly press the outer door as hard as you can
6. if it beeps and reads E40, repeat from point 1
Since the princess can only handle half-filled laundry at a time, sometimes I must do laundry twice everyday. And repeat the above 6 steps 8 to 10 times at most. It's LITERALLY giving me headaches.
If you Google or search on Youtube "Electrolux washing machine E40", there are so many results including their official website telling you what could be wrong and what could be done. Some goes back to as far as 5 year ago, meaning Electrolux hasn't improved their major malfunction in years!
I wanted to tell Electrolux about it. Their website directed me right back to their outsourced maintenance service provider. I can't the the only one. So for every customer that wants to tell Electrolux to improve their shitty products, Electrolux turn them away to the outsourced contractor. To me, it looks like Electrolux doesn't want to hear from their customers - you bought it, now shut it and suck it!
In conclusion, if you want to keep your sanity and hygiene, DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX WASHING MACHINE. Electrolux neither listens to their customers nor improves their princess washing machine. All you get is being nudged to their outsourced contractor, who can't come until 5 to 15 days later depending on how busy they are. What are you going to do with your dirty laundry during those 5 to 15 days? Shut it and suck it, of course.
Spread the word out to your beloved family and friends so that they won't have to go through the ordeal.
Or, it might be a good idea to recommend Electrolux to your worst enemy should he/she want to have a new washing machine.
