英國《每日郵報》報道，一項研究最近發現，在美國出售的十五款手錶錶帶均含有 PFAS，部分是 Apple Watch Nike 的錶帶。本周二（21 日），有人入稟加州北區法院，指控 Apple Watch Nike 採用的 Sports Band、Ocean Band 和 Nike Sport Band 等錶帶含有高水平 PFAS。
原訴人認為蘋果公司明知而蓄意隱瞞消費者，旗下產品含有有害化學物，而 Apple Watch 卻自我標榜為促進健康的用品。入稟狀指，蘋果公司本來可以透過採用市場上存在的其他物料，以避免不合理安全及環境危害，他們未能做到卻繼續對消費者作出健康、有益及可持續的承諾，是不合法、不公平及有欺詐成分。
