Filipinos are mostly catholic. Catholics do not allow pre-martial sex. I have already employed two single-mum. One fooled with the American- Black soldier and gave birth to a son. The other one was recommended by her aunt and claimed that she was married. Eventually, I found out that she was a single mum with a 2 years son. She always wanted to go back to be with her so-called husband......
Trust your instinct as religious will not score points in choosing a helper.

Your case is a bit same as mine, not sure whether you hire the maid "Jimxa Candilaxa Moxtero" coz she's a Christian & I hire her 1/2 yr ago, but her religion not completely Christian (she don't eat pork in the 1st day come, how come?). She also a teacher with a 7-yrs old son (maid in 42 yrs). But she just do her own way & never follow my instruction, always negotiate w/me on how to do or what to do (she thinnk she's mom?). Don't show much love & care to my child. So be careful & the maid may go to Canada after 1 yr.
I will terminate the contract with this bun tmw & she even request to have release letter (only work for 1/2 yr), request to have 14 days open air ticket etc, even go to the agent to complain me, how clever she is.... (I don't know whether she will stay behind in HK & go to labour dept, maybe)
