I did egg extraction today...in PWH private IVF.
This is my first time to do IVF,Dr gave me 300iu puregon in the first 6 days,but my response was not so good.So she gave me higher dosage, 375iu for another 3 days,but still not so good responese-only few eggs.Then I started chicken essence
on day 9...I just took half bottle a day,total 3 small bottles in 4 days.On day 12,Dr found that I'd too many eggs,around 20.She cut down the dosage to 150iu immediately,and told me if eggs were more than 20,she won't 放胎 in this cycle(take at least 2-3 cycles rest).
Today,I ve got 33 eggs and cannot 放胎 in this cycle.Because my hormones index is extremely high(30times higher than normal).
Actually,I had same experience before when I did IUI.
Please check yr ovary condition and egg carefully when u take chicken essence.It may affect Dr's judgement.
I am doing IVF in PWH,Dr never told me my egg's conditions even after egg extraction.I just heard my condition from the conversation between Dr and nurses.
At the early stage,Day 1(=1st day of injection),Dr told me my ovary was quite lazy,so she suggested a pure and high quality medicine(Puregon,300iu.some sisters use gonal-f.)
Day 3 ,Dr said my response was not so good,and the follicles number was not so much.
Day 6,Dr gave me 375iu.(10 eggs,but size were all under 10mm)
Day 9,only little response,Dr told me that I may need to take injection more than 15days.(11eggs,but only one over 12mm)And I started chicken essence-only half bottle a day.
Day 11,Two Dr were surprised...I've got over 20eggs.But their size is small...(10-15.5mm)-225iu.
Day12,eggs size were 12mm-18mm.
Dr cut down Puregon to 150iu.
Actually,I didn't plan to take chicken essence at first,Because I had a same experience when I did IUI,and had to stop treatment immediately(only2,3 eggs at first,but increased to 8-10eggs after taking 3bottles of chicken essence.)I am not recommend you to take chicken essence at the early stage,
because It may affect the Dr judgement.
Who is yr Dr?If u did IVF in private hospital,Dr must give u a better medicine..and monitor.If do in public,u need to pay extra for better medicine.
