For going to Macau - maid just brings along their passport, and for safety's sake, also their HKID and DH contract. No need to apply for visa.
For going to 深圳 - need to apply for visa.
I know that some tours are arranged specially for 印印(maybe by their agencies), and a 1-day trip on Sunday, incl. visa fees + food, = HK$360. Need 1/2 photos, copy of HKID, original and copy of passport and copy of DH contract. My 印印plans to go on one of these tours soon.
2. No. She is going on her own, just a pleasure tour to Shenzhen, with her aunt (also DH in HK) and her friends. They also went to Macau on their own last year.
Asked my maid last night and the info is as follows :
The Shenzhen tour is organized by another Indo maid's employer (I think the employer is either an employment agent or a travel agent), monthly tours, the employer asks her own Indo maid to let her Indo maid friends know, frequency is once a month, if there are enough Indo maids joining the tour (at least 20) they will go, if less than 20 Indo maids join then the tour is cancelled. Cost is either HK$360 or $365 per head, includes visa fees and 1 meal (lunch).
Need to confirm 1 week in advance by paying $ and submitting original passport / photocopy of HKIC & Indo passport & DH contract.
A trip was planned for this Sunday but not enough Indo maids confirmed so the trip was cancelled.
