Depend on which country and wether that country accept dual nationalities. For example, Malaysia and Singapore passport holder can only have one passport thats mean you will forefeit your other passport when you apply HKSAR paaport.
My child hold a Australian passport. I guess New Zealand had the same policy as Australia. If so, then you don't need to worry, they can take more than one passport.

若果想要回卿證，就必需申請特區passport， I also think that there isn't any necessary to apply the HKSAR, but because I want 回卿證, this is the only way.
You should have asked me this question. Daniel holds an Australian passport and also a 回鄉證. He doesn't need to apply for a HKSAR passport. What he needs instead is a re-entry permit(回港證) before he can apply for 回鄉證.
