i would suggest you to go for "2nd hand Hong" 10D. Coz' as i know, the front/back focuing problem is quite common in 10D with some lens, if you buy water product, you may not able to get the problem solved by Canon HK.
Besides, if you budget is around 7-8k, you already can buy a 10D with vertical grip in 2nd hand market, some of them are still in warranty.
I'd like to sell it in one month (better before chinese new year). It's not in warranty. So, that's why I sell it with vertical grip at that price but it can be negotiated.
Oh, you make up your mind to go for 1D MK II? I think it should be a wise decision when comparing the price difference between 1Ds MK II and 1D Mk II is so huge. If i have spare money, i will definitely go for the 1D mkII instead of 20D or 1Ds Mk II. Are you getting it with a "special" price?
You are welcomed! Hope you join the Canon DSLR family soon.
Adrian Daddy,
Did you try to use the Canon's DPP for converting RAW to JPEG? I just downloaded it and trying to convert some photos by my friend's 20D. Similiar to C1 Pro but as we get used to the interface of C1 Pro, you may not like the DPP.
