I think it depends on personal. It is OK that you can drive in the right hand side. The only problem that when there is no car in the road. You may have a problem. Also you have to remeber the road which turn left or right as there sign of road which is not clear shown in HK.
No, I drove for 10 years in Canada before returning to HK and found no problem to adopt to right hand driving. The only thing is that I have to always remind myself to drive on the left side. Get a car and drive around for a while and I am pretty sure you will get use to it.
