我個件就勉勉強強okay，有時明白，有時唔明白。好似我問她屋企熱唔熱，她居然講"enough"... -_-。另外，地下有一滴滴的水，我問是什麼來的，她說：dropping。我問dropping，什麼dropping，因為dropping係講動物的糞便，原來她係想講"dripping"。還有，有一日我聽到她同我個女講：give it for me，我望一望，原來她想叫我個女俾番個tooth brush她，但她就講錯了。
My maid are serve local family at singapore in full contract (2 Years) and her english is quite good and some of my friend she english standard like Bun Bun. If you worried, you can requested your point out your requested standard to your agent and let them to find suitable maid for you.
my existing maid english is quite good,, she worked in singapore for 18 months.. but i'm still thinking keep her or not as she stolen our things (Including money)... i will give her one more chance,,, otherwise,,, she need to go back indonesia... (she only work for me 1.5month)
quite sad at the moment. :cry: :cry:
i know that once stolen thing cannot give her chance.... But my husband and me feels her working performance is quite good.. and change another maid needs to spend money + time to train her again. (one more important thing is if next maid is still have same behavior ,, what should I do?)
many friends told me many maids have this behavior... i hv hired 5 maids already ( i dont want to waste my time + money again)... she made me very disappointed to her but i really dont know what to do (so that's why i said i feel sad at the moment).. agent told me if i wants to change maid, i hv to made decision within 3 months... she told me give her 1 more month to see if she can improve or not... my husband said we keep all our personal belonging in a safe place all the time... even she steal thing again (it's only food, clothes, bag, ...etc not money or jewellery etc)... is it a good solution...
anyone ,, i want to say thank you to my agent as she give me the positive method to solve the problem,.. she give me the idea is " your maid is really not good at all as she stealing yr thing,,, but if u feels her performance is good, just give her one more chance and see any improvement within this month and ask me bring her to the agent tomorrow take a briefing from his manager). not like some agent always give me a rubbish method,....

My previous Indo maid worked in Singapore for 2 years. But her English is terribly poor, totally unable to communicate with us, she only understand 2% of our instruction. She just do what she think.
So we change to talk to her in Cantonese, she is better, but still only 5% understand our instruction. But the strange point is, she is able to use cantonese to ask our private issues (e.g. why Sir return home so late, where does he go, etc)
Besides, she always makes things at my home broken. Though she works at my home for 3 weeks, she broken the exhaust fan, clothes cabinets of baby, clothes cabinet of maid, etc.....
She is also very careless. She give a very hot water for my baby to drink. My baby cry and throw the cup. I test the water and found that it is even too hot for adult. :evil:

Really appreciate it... u point is true and I agreed... i told you the story ;... 1st time, she only stolen the food (many food) put it all in her drawer.. dont know why... i told her dont do that anymore and ask agency give her a warning letter finally... after that we discovered her stolen my daughter's bag and laisee money... i asked her when she stolen. she said before i discovered her first time.... i trust her and told her if you still steal our things,, i will bring you to jail and not back to indonesia.. my agent ask me bring her to agency tomorrow and prepare 2nd warning letter to her,, i need agent to be a witness and ask her sign together in the letter,, hope she will improve... but my heart still 15/20.. meeeeeeeee..
anywany ,, thanks for your advise,,, i will keep to check her status for this month....
but i really feel that i am not the lucky me to use domestic helper... this is the 2nd one stolen our money.
我老公叫我唔好比較, 會好過d.
