My brother is a doctor and he told me that baby at 9-month old + can have the vaccination. However, there is medical evidence which suggests that the efficacy rate is higher (a few % higher) with babies 18-month old +. But if your baby will be mixing around with other babies in playgroups etc before 18-month old, my brother said that it is probably worth getting the vaccination before 18-month old.
