My oversea maid's visa was approved on Nov 10 but why she can't come immediately. The agency said need two weeks times then arranged she will come on Nov 26. Unfortunately, the agency call me again and said she can't come on 26 Nov because some documents problem. Then rearrange she come on Dec 4 but the agency call again and said she can't come on Dec 4 and need me wait one more week. How come? what happen? They only said she need to do some tests and do something and ........ I really don't know what happen??
I had the same case as u. Visa approved about Nov 10 but need to wait until mid Dec, need to depend whether img will get approval faster, otherwise need to wait even after Christmas (how come)
I don't know whether yr maid is Phil or yan. Most of phil will come to HK on Wed & arrive on Thur. By the way, now the air ticket is very rush & tight, maybe agency want to save money. Or maybe the test not pass, just wait & push agency that u really need maid in top top urgent & let her treat yr case in top priority.

A bit confused, sorry... is that mean the working visa of your maid has been issued by the HK Govn't but your agent does not arrange your maid to come to HK asap? Why you still need to push the Imm of HK after the working visa is issued?
My agent told me that once they got the working visa document from the HK Imm, they will courier that document to Phil for the OEM document. It takes around 5 working days for preparing the OEM document. That's the reason why they need around 10 more days (counted from the working visa is issued) to arrange the maid to come.
