I went to a seminar last week and the doctor said dye hair is not recommended as the ch####ials would go into our body through the head skin, then transmitted to baby, in particular, during the first three months when baby's organs are being developed .... so better consult your doctor on your next visit. ...
Doctor say cannot dye your hair during prenancy, My doctor said even smelling these chemicals is not good and told me not to go to the salon often. The chemical will transmit into the baby and affect its organ development. You may not know the exact impact even when the baby is born, not to say you will not see the impact from the ultrasound body check.
Hm, what about people who works in salon? Should they need to quit their job once they are pregnant? Just curious...

The limited evidence that's available suggests that it's probably safe to dye your hair during pregnancy. The Organization of Teratology Information Services (OTIS),which provides information on potential reproductive risks, says thatanimal studies are reassuring and that there are no reports of hair dyecausing changes in human pregnancies, despite the fact that many womenhave colored their hair during pregnancy. What's more, OTIS points outthat very little of the chemicals in hair dye are actually absorbedinto your system.
That said, if you're still concerned, considerwaiting to color your hair until the second trimester, when yourdeveloping baby is less vulnerable.
