I am not a CHristian and I don't know the right way to pray. COuld you please help me in this?
My husband is only in his late thirties and recently got a heart disease. Due to his family history of high cholesterol levels, he inherited this and last month the doctor diagnosed that his main blood vessels in his heart are all 100% blocked (he didn't got a heart attack up and had no symptoms at the moment was due to his habbit of doing exercises daily which strengthened those small branches of blood vessels to let blood through). Immediately the doctor carried out a surgery for him in an attempt to unblock the vessels but the attempt is unsuccessful. We are now waiting for a second attempt in early March 05 which the Doctor told us in advance that the successful rate is extremely low. If this is stilll unsuccessful, my husband will need to undergo another big sugery which involves opening the chest to directly connecting up "good" vessels to avoid blocked ones so as to let blood flow smoothly. This surgery involves high risk and the repaired heart can normally last only 10 years or less. I'm so afraid (he too) death will be near to us. I and my husband are so depressed and frightened at this moment and my husband always cries. I've never seen him such a big man cry. Everyday, we live under the threat of death. It seems we are waiting for a heart attack to come.
Apart from this we have two kids, one of them is a a 7 year old boy with Autism (mildly MR) with very little speech. My kid's autism made us worried so much in these years and I really can't stand with another news of my husband. HE is persimistic. He always sighed he can't even talk with his little boy just like other parents do until the end of his life. I never imagined life is so difficult for the two of us.
Sorry, God, I don't know much about you. Please forgive me for my guilt. God, please do listen to me. May I bring up my husband, Kelvin, to you and may God please put your hands on my him to heal him. Amen.
I'm sure God has listened to your prayer. He loves you and your family. He understands your situation and your needs. I'll keep you in my prayers and may He strengthen you and heal your husband. I'm sure you will experience His mighty love. Cast your burden to Him! I'm sure many brothers and sister here in BK will pray for you too!
You know what, God is the greatest doctor in the world, in the planet.
He not only knows your pain, but also your burden. Pollyw, I am sure that God listens your and our prayers. He is the one come to this world to heal us, to love us and to live with us.
Remember that we can always come to God to ask for his help. Never give up your hope in him, pray non-stop.
God promises that he will "never" give us a burden that we are not able to bear. That is true, God is kind to take care of the mess for us all the time.

Grate to know that I am in your prayers. My husband had just undergone the operation today on his heart which is finally successful. This is miraculous as the Doctor warned us in advance of the operation that the successful rate is extremely low and it is only an attempt. He now does not need to take the more serious and risky operation with his heart. Hurray!
This must be the result of our prayers to God and God has proven His love for us as He did listen to our requests as we listen to our son/daughter. I really wish to share this with you brothers and sisters as I consider miracle may not occur taht easily without God. This is a good chance for me and my family to follow Him for the rest of our lives.
However I think I need to put much effort to urge my husband to join the worship activities and may God bless I can be successful in this.

Yes, you are right! This must be the miracle done by God and he did listen to all our prayers. He comes to this world to heal us and to love us. He surely is doing to everyone of us. Pollyw, God gives you experience to "taste" his mighty love. He is so amazing!
