my son also got accepted to Pre-K in Anfield. Actually, he has been studying in the playgroup there since he's one year old. My son likes Anfield a lot! The teachers are very caring.
tks for sharing. infact am pretty disappointed on a few issues. first of all, they told me they won't confirm us the seats until close to before CNY. And they never mentioned about the non-refundable debenture thing. also they never mention about paying school fee per term base rather than per month.
my husband and I decided to quit...because of the above issue.
My daughter got accepted Anfield PRE-K too...she was there from toddlerobics to playgroup...the progress is good ...both me an my husband are happy with the school...so does my daughter...
Regarding the issue that maiye mentioned above, we were shocked when we received the letter. But, we ended up decided to accept it and paid the debenture already...
I am so happy to see other Anfield parent here as there are not many ppl talk about this kindergarten here. but, personally, I pretty satisfied with the school so far...
so have you accepted and paid the debenture as well?
My only concern is about the afternoon session where it's napping for my daughter...I do hope she will get used to it and overcome a new napping time after she starts the school...
By the way, any plan for your son tojoin the pre-program after spring term?
i have the same concern as you, ie., the napping time but i guess they will get used to it at the end... btw, i sent you another PM (total 2 PMs) but i'm not sure whether you got it or not cause i couldn't see it in my outbox.. pls. check...
it was quite surprising to hear that you weren't informed much. is your kid studying in anfield currently as i just wondered maybe they give priority to the andfield students first??? sorry you didn't have that good experience from anfield.
I am planning to send my kid to the playgroup. Do I need to pay debenture for that?
If I plan to switch to another local kindergarten for K1 at the age of 2 yrs 8 mths, can I just continue the playgroup till 2 yrs 8 mths, instead of joining the pre-K from 2 yrs 4 mths?
the debenture is about HK$11K and it's refundable if your kid continues to go from Pre-K to K1... there is no need for debenture for any playgroups / prep programs. and yes, your kid can continue to join the playgroup and not the prep program...
