The movie mode of Kodak 7590 only 640 x 480 @ 12 fps. The movie is not smooth enough. The CCD size is 1/2.5" at 5MP. I am afraid the noise is much larger.
I am using Olympus c770, 1/2.5" CCD at 4MP, 10x (38mm - 380mm), 640 x 480 @ 30 fps MPEG4 movie. A 512MB xD card can record 30 minutes movie.
I recommend Konica Minolta A200, 2/3" CCD at 8MP, 7x (28mm - 200mm) 640 x 480 @ 30 fps Motion JPEG movie but it can only record continuous movie of 15 minutes. It has night movie mode and anti-hand shaking system. It is very suitable for indoor or low light shooting.
