you should report it to the police. when you do so, the police with have a record and provide you with a report number.
In case anything happen and you want to fire the maid with summary dismissal (that means no need to give one month notice), this can serve as a strong evidence.
What if she come back at 5 in the morning, there is no point for you to report to the police tomorrow then (since your maid has come home safely). I truly believe no matter what reporting to the police is the best way to protect your own interest.
i know. but should i go to the police office now, alone? my 2 kids are sleeping. i live in village, no mini bus now. since I am the one who sign the contract, i think even my husband go to the police station, it will be no use.
even you are the employer, your husband also can go to report to the police (my case also like this)
