You don't need to worry, no matter you mentioned it in the contract or not, they will say YES before you hire them. But in reality, when they start working for you, they will try to ask for Sunday and public holidays, because all my maids are like that. So what you have to do is when they work for you on the 1st day, you have to emphasize once again no SUNDAY and PUBLIC HOLIDAYS and write it down in your house rule, ask them to write it down in Indonesian too! So whenever they ask for it, or black face when you don't give them these days off, you show them the house rule with their handwriting on it! That's what I usually do when a new maid comes!
