Do I still renew the contract with this Filipino helper?
Hi all Employers,
I have struggled for a long time to think whether I should renew the contract with her or not, as she in fact as the fine helper, independent, good english, no stolen record. She can handle all housework & who taka care my baby from new born until 16 months now. Only one critical issue is her character is very stubbon, who doesnt scarce of me & not follow my instruction. That make me very worry whether she will decide any thing & not get my approval. If you were I , would you renew the contract or not?

I also have this experience b4. The most concern is difficult to looking for a right person to take care your little kid. If you don't mind to train a new one, you should find a new one. Otherwise, 就要忍多佢一個約啦. However, you should also consider if her performance becomes worse after renewed the contract. So what should you do?

My new maid is as the same as yours. But compare with my old and new maids, I still prefer to hire my new maid as my old maid is very stupid & lazy although my new maid is stubbon. If I were you, I will renew the contract with her.

Thanks for your kindly feedback. I would like to share more details with you. In fact, I got 2 maids at home, so the new maid can be trained by the existing one. But some friends told me it is not easy to change the helper when my baby is 4 years old? So I decide to hire the new maid. However, the maid really love my baby, only her character is the problem, so I really dont know how to do?

she will listen to me but only after many next times. That make me very disappointed but she will not black face. That why I feel worry to let her take care of my baby as I am sure whether she follow my instruction or not.
