三個月後會來星加坡做野, 做一年...
我是一個女仔來, 請問點樣租屋? 唔想同人share toilet...都應該要市中心了, 要幾多$$一個月呢?

網上的資料寫HDC apartment/HUDC apartment/private apartment/Landed property..是什麼來的呢?

另 ...屋通常有無包傢俱?
有咩要留意呢...

HDB = government flat
private = private apartment
Landed property. = private house.

HDB will be cheaper in term of rental.

you can find lot of rental ads in this forum. you can ask again if u have any question.

如果只你rent room..HDB/HUDC多D CHOICE,因為HDB係政府BUILD,唔可以成間屋RENT出去。好多時會LOCK一間ROOM,其他分租出去。

想同人share toilet可以RENT MASTER ROOM,主人ROOM 會有埋toilet.

I also rent room when I was single and worked in Singapore. It will be around 700 to 1200 depends on location.

Take care of
- Don't rent the area at Kallang. This is red night district.好多妓女
- when the ads said 3+1 (3room + 1 hall) , 2+1 (2 room + 1 hall).
- f/f = full furniture
- ask them whether the room got boardband line plug in....some room do not have and you cannot apply for internet yourself.
- usually is 1 mth deposit + 1 mth rent and fixed 1 yr lease or above.

我聽聞好難搵到一個人住晒的屋?

我網上見好多係幾個bedroom, 租價應該都是其中一個bedroom的價吧? Common room=share toilet? Master Room = Private toilet? 但其他電器如洗衣機, 雪櫃, microwave都應該要share吧...?

若700 可以租一間房, 咁我可以1400租晒成間屋唔同其他人share嗎....

(第一次租屋....咩都唔知, 請指教)

同埋...洗衣機, 泠氣...等等, 係唔係講明比Agent聽要先至有?
另外, 水費電費點計...
一定要一年contract? 如果中途走係唔係唔得...

If you rent Condo (私人樓),then normal you need to rent whole unit. then you can stay alone lor.

Common room=share toilet? If there is 2 common room, of course you need to share with others. If only 1 common room, then you have to ask the landlord whether you can lock the toliet and soley use by yourself.
Master Room = Private toilet? Normally is private, because it is inside the room. If you lock the room, then no one can use la.
但其他電器如洗衣機, 雪櫃, microwave都應該要share吧...? Of cours la.

若700 可以租一間房, 咁我可以1400租晒成間屋唔同其他人share嗎....if you have budget, can try to rent whole unit of HDB. The price is cheaper then you rent condo. A studio codo still close to SGD2000 but a HDB (e.g. 2room + 1hall) can be around SGD1500 to 2000 (depends on locations). Anyway, if you can find one near MRT, it should be fine. Singapore is very small, not neccessary to rent near city area.

另外, 水費電費點計... if you rent room only, see whether the landlord will include in rent, if not, you have to share with other roomate. if landlord also live together with you, becareful, sometimes they will control you the use of electricity...because they need to pay

If you rent the whole unit, landlord will ask you to apply the water/electricity (in Singapore is together in one single dept to charge/bill you) yourself and you have to pay. If you stop rent the unit, just need to cancel the bill yourself.

They will prefer you 1 fixed lease contract. Because you are not local and they afarid you will go away. If you want to leave earlier, then depends the contract. Last time, I need to give landlord 3month notice if i want to stop the lease ealier and forgo my 1 mth deposit.

Yes....

HDB同HUDC有咩分別?
HDB is government build. HUDC is very old private houses but no facilities (e.g. swimming pool, club house etc). But condo is private houses with facilities.
HUDC is much bigger but very old.

How to apply for 水費電費...? I think I need to open a bank account as well....
