Because first we had to visit the Rental Office to sign the Lease Agreement and complete other formalities for our new home.
Then, it was because of the Weather.
After 30 minutes of the paper work, we left the Rental Office only to find the Spring Heat on the day was quite intense (temp at 28 degree).
We made a decison NOT to stand in the open street, as we've kept reminding our children to stay in shade whenever, whereever they can, avoiding the Strongest UV during the worst time (between 11-1500 hrs) of a Sunny Day. So, we'd to stick to our words.
Especially, we once heard there are 250 Queenslanders die of Skin Cancer Every Year!
Instead, we went to see the Dragon Boat Races on Sunday.
It was Strange in seeing Three Things.
1) It seemed there were only "Kwai Low" (Westerners) in doing this supposingly "Chinese Traditional Activity" -Dragon Boat Race!
2) No Dragon Boat SUNK!!! (Well, we got used to seeing "kwai Low" sinking their Dragon Boat in HK most of the times!!)
3) There were only Women!!
Oh, Yes! Of course, it is raising the Awareness of Breast Cancer. And it's the Female Survivors from all over the World (like Canada, USA.......) to come to Australia, having these Dragon Boat Race FUN!!!
We had a Good Time, though NOT for long - our children requested to ride their bikes!! (Probably after seeing so much Action!)
