I ask my maid who says that the Indonesia wordings means it is OK if you are busy.
If you allow your maid to return home, you must ask her to her own round trip ticket and no pay leave. Also ask her to write a letter to you to confirm that if she dont return on the reurn date, she will be assumed to break contract on her own accord and you have the right to employ another maid to replace her without any further notice.
During finishing contract and you prefer to renew but dont want the maid to return home again, you have to repay the round trip ticket money to her and also the 14 days annual leave. You just ask her to exit Macau or China on her own expenses. But if you dont want to renew her contract, you just give her one single trip ticket and 14 days annual leave pay and $100 for traveling

May I ask how will you tell the Police?
1. ( Missing) = the maid has not yet returned to HK and is still on vacation in her home town. How can you say that the maid is missing? Do you think the Police will help you to handle this case and look for the maid?
2. (Late to come back) = either the Police or Immigration can only advise you to write to the maid to ask if she will return to work for you, if no response, it will be assumed to break contract
on her own accord.
3. If maid can say by force to write the letter, what is the meaning of accepting their resign letter with one month notice?
