我的三個月大B女在聽覺測試全部肥佬...

我的三個月大B女在聽覺測試全部肥佬...專科醫生更說她對聽聲反應很慢.......在家中她一切正常--會望着我咔咔地笑, 聽到哥哥大聲叫會怕得大哭....但醫生說其實不利用聽覺, 她亦可有以上反應...所以必須再cheak腦桿活動....
我很不開心, 請比意見我, 我可以怎做?

係咪要bb瞓覺check嗰種呀？我呀b喺仁安check完，姑娘話要bb瞓着覺先可以check 得。

Don't worry....bring her to do whatever test this doctor recommend. At the same time, bring her to see a private doctor for second opinion.

One thing I do not understand is if she is afraid of her brother's loud noise that means she can hear, right? But why the doctor says 不利用聽覺, 她亦可有以上反應?

I am not sure whether it's a doctor or the audiologist who made this statement. However, it's partly true because hearing impaired babies may still response to very loud sound, depends on the degree of hearing loss. Also babies are learning at all time: they are responding not only to speech but to our body language when we talk to them face-to-face, and they are practising their muscles for speech --- that's why that "doctor" said babies may not use hearing and they can still give you responses.

;-) How is your baby's hearing? Ask an audiologist! ;-)

好多謝你哋嘅關心同回應呀, 而我現在係由母嬰院轉介去醫院耳鼻喉專科嘅, (happykklam, 係呀, 係要BB瞓覺做嘅測試呀)現醫生(should be audiologist?)話BB聽力反應好弱同慢, 下次要做腦桿測試看是否BB腦部有問題(即BB要先服安眠藥及頭部要貼晒電線果隻)....Shiba-Inu, 我會先睇晒你foreward比我嘅forum, 作好晒心理預備先再去睇另一位私家醫生for second opinion, 正所謂"Hope for the best, prepare for the worse"嘛....但我都真係唔知點解有咁嘅問題, 好自責點解會攪到佢咁, 好驚佢咁細個就要帶助聽器, 亦好驚對佢第時學講嘢有問題...唉 :-(

我bb個情況都係咁, 佢星期三要去醫院check啦, 我都好擔心, 但去forum度睇下d意見係好d o既!

I love my little yanyan..... :-D 這是她的肥豬腳.......好好味呀...... :-o

看過你forward比我有關BB聽力測試的topic後, 感覺實在有點激動:--
-原來有咁多有關cases正在發生; 路, 的確不只我一家人走的, 但不是說一千個BB才有幾個有問題嗎?點解會好似咁common咁發生在BK mami身上....要知道自己懷胎十月的骨肉不知何解的不能正常發展, 是很令人痛心的....
-Thanks God, 好彩識上BK先可以接觸到咁多樂於助人的熱心朋支, 如果唔係一定會好無助,好徬惶...千謝萬謝....

其實自從我B女在母嬰院failed兩次OAE後, 上星期在Queen Mary耳鼻喉專科見醫生前再做多一次OAE, 但醫生(應不是audiologist吧)說"好似好D", 但把響鈴放佢左
右兩耳時, 佢好似冇乜反應, 所以便安排ABR....但係要到七月才可做, 我好擔心, 所以如我自己先找private做, 想請教:
-有需要及有好處嗎?譬如說, 我可要求private做ASSR rather than ABR, 那便可更早知道, 及比在public做得更整體的測試結果了, 是嗎?早一兩個月得知結果, 是否
會比因public hospital排期問題而遲做較有利?(因我又怕follow-up在public應較好...)如我有此需要, 可否請你share一些private的資料比我?萬分感激...
-如成因是sensory/neural問題, 是否通常兩耳都有問題的呢?

loveyanpig, 我好明白你的心情, 我自從知道自己囡囡懷疑有咁問題後, 真係好擔心, 仲喊咗好多次, 尤其係望住佢咁天真可愛的笑面時, 好自責係咪自己的錯.....希望你BB最後都冇事啦! 記住通知我呀!

My daughter also has the same problem, I do the follow up in the government clinic in Yau Ma Tei. I went to the private doctor a few times before, the private doctor suggested me to go back to the government for the check up as he said they are more well-equipped. My daughter will go again and to do the test next month.....

我囝囝現在2.7歲,早在三個月大時,亦做過三次聽覺測試,但三次都肥佬,但姑娘返而安慰我話,有時未必係聽覺有問題,有可能係太眼訓,或者係佢對個搖鈴的聲音沒有太大興趣呢,叫我自己嚮屋企多些同囝囝練習下,如果有反應,就無須太擔心.我好唔明白,點解現時的姑娘會將未經確定的事,講得太嚴重,從而令到各位媽媽擔心,我希望大家唔好太擔心喇,更祝福各位bb下次test一定pass.

不要勉強對方改變性格來遷就你, 只有引導對方改善自己來迎合你. 凡事無須太執著,執著只會添苦惱.

我已經轉移陣地, join咗另一個 forum "BB聽力測試"度同其他媽咪/專家繼續傾, 佢哋好好架, D資料仲好有用 (但sorry, 我唔知點transfer過去添, 麻煩你揾吓...),
