she can resign and sign the contract with u, but u also need to wait.But actucally, do u know her performace and the experience, is suitable for u or not ??
u need to waiting her one month then sign the contract with u. But I think is very difficult for u to know how's her performance.Of course, she will tell u how good she is but the employer is too bad.Like me, I 've an interview my maid in H.K., she told me how her employer treat her,she is working with me for about six month,she let me know don't believe them, bad performance that i've never seen.
As I know that, she has to resign, then go back to Philippine and waiting for the issuing of the visa, it takes about 2 months. However, she needs to pay for the agent again in Philippine (about HK$10,000). Does she know it ?
If the maid was fired due to financial problem of employer, then they can stay in HK 2 weeks to get a new boss. Or else, they must return Philippine first await for visa.
My sister got a maid like that & expecting she can come in 2 months, finally takes >3 months to come back HK.
Just remind u to be careful! Why she's willing to pay HK$10,000 for changing employer? You're better to get her previous employer's contact to ask clearly.
I don't know she need to pay HK$10,000, it is a lot, if so I don't think she will change her job, as she just started for few months with her current contract. As only one maid suggesting me to consider her relative, so may be she would not turn up for interview if she knows that.
