may be i can share with you about my experience.
My baby has eczema also, when he was about 1-2 months,
i found he has some skin problem on his head. then until
4-5 months, he always has itchy, red, on his face, his
skin becomes very dry in winter. at the very beginning,
sometimes i offered formular to him because i don't have
enough breastmilk stock at home. Also i drank a lot of
frensh milk when pregnant..
then he could not sleep very well at night, he always
scratched his face, neck;; finally introduced by BK mom,
who is also breastfeding her son, i went to a doctor
in central to do the skin test, and let her check with
my baby. during the skin test, it is found that my baby
cannot eat corn, cow milk, cheese, dairy product like
cream, rice, carrot, egg, peanut, which you never imagine that those
food will cause allergy. since at that time my bb was
5 months, he only had breastmilk, i therefore have to
adjust my diet, i cannot eat the food causing those
allergy to him.
After 1 week, it was much improved!! and his skin became
very smooth, very good. But the skin test can only vaild
about 4-6 months, because of the variance of the body
self- adjustment for certain period.
don't worry about the nurtriation, there are a lot of
substitues, and also, don't think your bb cannot eat
those foods forever, after he avoids eating such foods
for a certain period, the sensitive cells inside his
body will forget those food, so the tolerance will become
bigger, so he can eat when he is bigger.
if you need this doctor info, please pm to me. ( it is
a bit expensive..)
