hi mcheung
wow, you've got 2 sons, boys are usually naughtier and more active than girls, are you tired with them?
to me, one girl has already driven me crazy sometimes, i really think i cant handle boy.
where do they study? which kindergartens?
i dont work anymore, after maternity leave, i worked for another 3 months, then i found i missed the girl so much and wanted to spend more time playing with her, teaching her etc, so i left my job. i became a full time mum, happily...luckily with my parents help, i am quite free sometimes, i dont have a maid but live very close with my parents. my husband works most time, only has sunday off, so my girl is very attached to me, she likes to play with grandpa, grandma is always busy with housework and cooking etc.
meal time, talk again soon
Rae Ma
you're right that boys are usually naughtier than more active than girls, so that is a hard job for take care my two sons. That's why i prefer to work, i can take a break in my office. In addition, i'm lunckily got a good mother-in-law. She can help to monitor the maid in the day time. She will come back her home when i'm on the holiday. In frankly speaking, i must more busy on my out of office hour than the office time, i need to bring my sons go to attend other classes.
My elder son studied in Kentville K1 now. The younger son studied in YWCA at nursery class, but will transfer to Kentville on this Sept.
During the school, which subject has been taken? I took commercial subjects. Sometimes i will miss in Pooi To six year school life.
Hi Sennie and MCheung
so good to meet some Pooi To old friends, even though we were not in the same year. I only studied until F.5 with commercial subjects, was unable to promote to F.6.
MCheung, I consider Kentville as one of the choices for my girl next year. Is a good kinder do you agree? My girl will only start nursery this August, in Yuen Long's Creative.
All her K1 to K3 will be in Kln Tong but havent decided which kinder. If you could give me some advice from your experience, that would be nice.
Rae Ma
Kentville is a good kinder & their academic standard is over the average. I just let my two sons took 2 kinders interview - Kentville & St. Catherine. We're lunkily got both acceptance. In the final, i choose Kentville. Due to the Chinese, Eng & Maths will more average that i think equal to important for these subjects. That's why i gave-up St. Cath for my two sons.
My elder son love go to school very much & his teachers are very nice. I always give a call to the teacher for make clear about my son's school life.
On the other hand, Kentville also have a short-coming e.g. no picnic. But we will organize by ourself in BK mami.
If u have any time, you can go to visit our Kentville chatroom.
hey, thanks so much for your advice.
its so good to hear the comments from a mother who has experience with the kinder, I will also consider St Cats too, are these 2 the best and most popular do you know?
some mothers told me these 2 are difficult to get in, do you think so?
my girl is having a nap, so I can be on line. are you working at the office and on line as well? is it safe to do that?
you're right that Kentville & St Cat are most popular & high reputation.
These 2 kinders received a several thousand application in every year, but i think these 2 will easy to get in than before due to the birth rate has been drop down. In past 2 yrs, they ask the similar style questions for parents or kids, so don't worry about it.
Yes, i'm working at the office with private room, so it is more safe to do that.
