I have asked my bun bun to prepare congee for my baby twice a day as I don't want her to keep the congee cooked in the morning for evening use. As the weather is so hot now, meat will become sour very easily. I also prefer not to keep food in the fridge and then reheat it using the microwave for baby.
My bun bun will usually prepare soup for the dinner in the early afternoon. She will then use the soup (before putting salt) to cook congee for my baby. My baby loves it very much.
