I've seen Dr. Law for 8 years, he's good and patient also Amy 姑娘 . But sometime may be he's busy and also need to care about the 病人 waiting outside for an hour. If you are one of the 大肚婆 waiting outside for an hour, what you feel?
Of course he's good, so he has many clients and alway fully booked.
I also seen Dr. Law 4 times for pre-natal checking. So far, i think he is quite patient to answer my questions may be i'm always the last patient at around 6:15 - 6:30pm. Having said that, i keep seeing other doctors since i want to make sure my bb is ok during pregnancy.
If I have hard feeling with his treatment, I will change another doctor too. We are the patients, we have the right to know more what we are not familiar with.
I want to share my experience on changing a new doctor during the pregnancy. I've changed my doctor from a female who was famous and experienced in Sheung Wan to a male doctor who was experienced and expert in 婦科 (even HA would refer client to him for diagnosis and consultation on medication and treatment plan) when I was pregnant for 5 months.
My previous doctor was famous, so I needed to wait for over 1.5 hours for meeting her every time. However, she spent less time on me and her facilities were outdated (but she needed not to invest on this item because too many people look for her). She also suggested me to 照大機at another clinic.
Then, I changed to the male doctor who was highly remcommended by my friend who had suffered from 婦科 cancers and healed by him.
His name is doctor 劉漢基. He had advance mechine and facilities and his diagnosis was outstandarding. He is kind, patient and humor. He offerd me 1 hour consultation time for my first intake. Then, he also spent at least 30 mins for each consultation check up. He can answer you all questions you asked and tell you more information for your reference. He is very nice and his 手勢是出名的.
So, I supported you to change to a new doctor because trustful relationship and comfortable feelings between your doctor and you is cruical in the delivery process. Just find another good doctor la, don't wait la :-P
I have been seeing Dr. Law for 8 years and he has always been very nice to me. I had seen many doctors for opinion at the beginning but he was one of the few who was willing to answer questions patiently no matter how busy he was. I never see him being rude and I trust him as he cares about his patients. So I am very surprised to read your complaint.
I saw Dr. Sung before (the female doctor who charged $600 for each consultation) in Sheung Wan.
Dr. Francis H.K. Lau, 6/F, Kam Shek Comm. Bldg., 17 Waterloo Road, Kowloon. (即油ma 地消防局對面的金石大廈, 又即廣華則的YMCA的左邊的大廈), 2332-3032, 2388-3903. He charged $620 for each consultation no matter how many medicine you needed even the 消炎藥. He will give you free 3-D photos (the normal and small size not the 8-R) for you in later stage (around 6-7 months) as your baby's shape is smart.
He is very nice and I highly recommended to all pregnant women, esp. those having 婦科病及想睇好婦科病(e.g. cancer). My friend who saw Dr. Lau in her late 40 and he helped her to discover the cancers (she suffered from 3 type of cancers in 3 different part of women's body). He can make smart and accurate diagnosis.
