All the cream I mentioned are safe. Becareful to distinguish Mo Bei Ko from 強力 Mo Bei Ko, the latter one contains anti-histamine (an antiallergy drug) while the former does not.
DEET is a compound in anti-mosquito spray, very easy to get, say I am using Johnson one for my kids. It has 7% DEET.
With due respect for others' opinion, all other compounds, plant extract and so on have been proven ineffective for the purpose.
