眼瘡 is common in children, usually it will resolve in a week's time. Hot compress, eye drops and onitment are commonly used. If the infection is getting more serious and spreading, taking drugs (usually antibiotics) by mouth or even surgery may be necessary.
If the acute infection has subsided but the lump persists for, say, weeks to months. Surgical drianage may also be considered.
However, no matter how good the eye doctor is, it may come back, in the same or the other eye.
