請教廠機同砌機有咩分別?我指pc入面
Serious, depends the purpose of your new PC. If you are a gammer, you'll need 砌機 since you need to fine tune all hardware, say a 1T hard drive, i7 980, 4G ram, XXUS ... motherboard, HD5970 x2 crossfire display ... So, you can build your dream PC. Down side is, you need to draw your own specification. If PC malfunction, you virtually on your own -- still, warranty do provide by individual hardware sole distributor. So, you have to single out the problem by yourself.
廠機 warranty provided by reseller and that means whenever you have problem, reseller will fix it for you. The down side is you usually have difficulity to configure a 廠機 to your ideal specification. Say, hard drive is a 320G or paying extra $200 will upgarde to a 800G. But you want to have a 500G and they don't have such options -- and you're stuck. Some of the 廠機 have difficulty for self upgarde - say, their case don't have enough space for you to insert HD5970 display card.
Bottom line is, if you have some basic idea of PC's hardware, go for 砌機. Or else, 廠機.
Last but not least, 廠機 or 砌機 cost more or less the same these days. Still, 廠機 usually cost a little bit more (around $300 - 400) as they'll charge for the warranty service.
