I bought a small rice cooker (electrical one) which could cook congee. But I don't know why, it took me 2 hours to cook the congee... maybe I didn't read the instructions... ?-( ?-( ?-( at this moment, I still don't think it is good enough to introduce to others... let me explore more :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
I use ricecooker but not switch to the 'congee' mode... coz it takes nearly 2 hours...(I tried it before)... (BTW, never use the ricecooker to bake the cake coz takes you 3 hours...)
I cook the congee by using the method like 'dun' ... by putting a bigger bowl wiht cap (inside with rice and water and also the fish/meat/.,... food you like to cook... ) and fill some water inside the rice bowl and then switch it on...

I also use 真空煲 as I dont have to worry about burning the pot.
I have burnt at least 5 pots since Hoyin was born (very careless).
I used to use slow cooker but it takes more than 10 hours to cook.
