這是一本幾出名的書"如何教寶寶閱讀"，還有一本"如何教寶寶百科知識"不過要大個d先用這本。你可以去這兒看看click here，對你有幫助。一齊搜集資料呀!其實這裡"教育小組"都有好多媽咪用緊架!

Yes, there is actually a lot of information from 教育小組. I found a useful website with lots of flash card words (Chinese + English) to download and I have already printed some. But the Chinese words are somehow "Taiwanese" e.g. they use the phase 奶奶 for 祖母, so may have to adjust ourselves.

Let me find the web site and post it here later (I've bookmarked it in my computer at home)~

hi..i am the new comer.

u may buy the flashcards at gifted child. they have spots cards, chinese, english and encyclopaedia. all very expensive and i think that it will be better to do the flash cards yourself.

i have read the books on teaching maths by doman and have started using the spot cards since my baby was 2 months old and i even started the encyclopaedia at her 3 months. the progress is good and once she knows that she is about to take "lesson", she will be very excited. when i let her choose between the 2 cards, she is able to do so.
therefore, if u are interested in this learning way, you should try asap.

thx.my baby is really great "in size".
i gave her flash cards before she was 2 months old. the cards include spots and encyclopaedia, she would be very excited when she saw the cards.

i also played some phonics CD and cello music to her during day time

how old is ur bb? u should try the spots card asap!
and if your baby is too young, u have to buy flash cards, instead using the internet. it is not good for their eyes!

i have made some flash cards for my bb to read (chinese), but have not continued since my girl usually slept and slept when she was 3 months old.

hi all moms,

i learnt about "Montessori" from their representative today. when compared with "DWE", i found the "Montessori" is more comprehensive and developed than "DWE"

Montessori:
- includes a series of education: english, toys for muscle and mental development, maths...
- no vcd
- more emphasis on education of parents to act as a model for kids
- more games to play with kids

DWE:
- learning english only
- vcd
- more emphasis on the regular schedule to run the vcd /cd materials
- more interaction of kids (partys...)

Any mom has comment on these 2 systems? Let's discuss together~

我個仔9個月開始睇DWE,睇到而家4歲仲睇緊,同細仔一齊睇,佢哋好鍾意,我細仔而家11月,我一開DVD機佢就會返埋位等睇碟.
但我見好多小朋友3-4歲開幾用就冇咩興趣,所以如果小朋友太大就唔好浪費金錢,因真係好貴! 由BB開始買就會好好多.
我個大仔而家會拎DWE教材書本嚟讀,佢仲試得串好多字,如DINOSAUR, STRAWBERRY,仲有好多好多
