I know this is an old thread, but trying to gather some latest information. I already read this other thread on forum about 冬蟲夏草 also.
So in Chinese herb store is the only place you can buy 冬蟲草粉? While those 冬蟲夏草膠囊 are more easily bought at stores such as Mannings and Watsons.
From the recommended list... there are the "big name" such as 北京同仁堂, 位元堂, 余仁生. Then there are also commercial newer store such as 東方紅, 官燕棧, 盞記, 樓上燕窩莊.
The capsule form has many brands, such as 草姬(郭晉安代言/ 培植?). Then the problematic brand 御藥堂(米雪代言/野生?). Other publicized brand such as 衍生行(陳煒代言), 冠軍(汪明荃代言)全野生, 綠養坊冬蟲夏草強效版, 東方紅極品冬蟲草花旗蔘.
Anyone can share the latest/greatest feedback on 冬蟲草 粉vs膠囊, and the brand that you use?
