My maid complaint heavy workload.

My maid complaint it is too heavy workload at my house. (1000feet /3 rooms+2bathrooms+4persons)
What do you think ?

Can you allow your maid after cleaning the master bathroom everyday, but there still has much dust everywhere ??And she always forgot at least 3-5 things everyday !

My maid said somewhere has two maids in someone's house to finish all the workload.

but before she sign contract for you, she already know your house size, family size, job duties...etc.
Why she complaint now ?

My friend's house has almost 3000 feet, 4 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 1 studying room, 1 large seating room, 1 large dinning room, 1 storage room, 1 maid's room include toilet. need to look after a couple, 2 kids and 1 old dog. It is still only one helper. She need to do marketing, cleaning, cooking, look after everyone in the house and also needs to take the dog for walk.

How long has she work for you? Why does she complaint? Does she want to introduce other relative to work for you? Does she want to get more salary from you? Does she want to look for other job in a small house which may not even able to offer her a room or a bed to sleep?

你同佢講簽約既時候已經好清楚寫明, 白紙黑字, 無花無假, 你覺得工作辛苦你可選舉辭職唔做, 搵個一間屋有兩個工人既僱主簽你囉, 我請工人番黎係做野唔係享福, 咁你幾時會遞辭職信?我隨時請個新工人...

你個工人黎左香港幾耐呀?千萬唔好比你放肆, 如果唔係你又有下一次, 工人往往係唔會滿足現狀...?

間屋 1000呎, 有4個人要照顧, 老實講, 好多家庭都係咁架bor, 有d 仲有埋一位老人家要照顧添. 咁平時工人要做d 咩? 個個返晒工返晒學 or 佢要由朝做到晚?? 要睇番工人究竟每天的 duties 係咩囉. 有d 人屋企得2個大人& 1個返幼稚園的小朋友, 屋企可以有好多o野要工人做, 但係有d 家庭的工人又可以好得閒. 我諗要視乎工人個 timetable.

我朋友間屋5千呎,仲有4隻狗,兩架車,2大2小,成日喺屋企招呼朋友BBQ...都係得1個賓姐咋.你個賓已經好幸福喇.仲投訴 叫佢返菲長抖啦

This is her first job in HK. She has been worked for my home at 4 months.

-Cooking
Just for steamed fish, she need to see the notes.
Sometimes, she forgot the fish should be put in the
boiling water.:-(
Chopping food, I think she must did it at home or the training centre at Phillippine. But she said, she seldom do that, her mother do that. :-(

-When my son was taking bath at the tub, she just faced to the mirror to see herself/bodyshaped.

-She said she got 10 lbs heavier in the first month, so she need to keep fit now. Now, 少飯多菜.

- Change clothes more than us. 4 clothes a day, the pants excluded. That's why she was always put her wet clothes in between ours dry clothes.

Last Friday, she said her jeans could not washed with her clothes in the same cycle of the washing m/c, as she has one piece white T-shirt. But the jeans are not colour fading, just dirty.

I will not keep the maid who has complaint the heavy workload. If your maid still has complaint, ask her to resign immediately by herself! Even though you wanna to fire her, give her one month notice if possible. Don't give her any chance to get $1 more.
