This is the 1st time she come to HK, she has experience in Singapore for 2 years, looking after an old woman and a 3 years old child. She came to my home for 2 weeks, but she seem don't like to look after my 2 years old son, my mother-in-law stay with us during these weeks, the maid always escape from looking after my son when my mother-in-law is present, she always hiding in the kitchen or toilet pretending doing cleaning all the time. I need her to take care my son by her own during the day. What can I do????
Maybe the maid is afraid of your mother-in-law instead of not willing to take care of your son. You'd better talk to her to know why she behaves like this. If she does not willing take care of your son, you'd better change for another one.

my maid work for 2.5 yrs already. She always want to escape from my sons. When somebody here, she of course go away, when nobody here, she can leave my son alone to play and she go into kitchen !!! That's why my son always bomb and now i decide to fire here
my son seems to like her much and I observe she can handle him by herself alone. However, may be she find it is tired to play with him all the time and doing the house work. She also has afternoon nap with my son. So I think the workload is ok, though my son wake up at mid-night during these two weeks and she is afraid to manage him at night time.
