Is it apply for Indonese maid or for Philip. maid?? If deduct $3000, only a few money can be earned for the maid and do u think it's enough for her when day off? How come yr agent will have such request?? "Really break the law and illegal!"

Is the indo maid, the first 7 months she need to pay back agent fee $3000 per month. So the maid will not have holidays on the first 7 months and will be paid for all holidays.

I read the newspaper for the question that you were facing . The consultant said donn't pay the money to the agent directly as this may let you get troblue in the future.
According to my experenice, you should pay the full salary to your maid. The agent will request your maid to give them the agency fee every month but not to be paid by you directly. Don't get involve with the dealing between the maid & the agent.

Yes, don't listen to the agent.
By Employment Ordinance, you are obligated to give "full salary" to your maid. Whether the maid will pay the agency fee to the agent is the agreement between the maid and the agency. If you have any court case later (when you fire the maid one day), the maid can sue you for not giving full salary to her!!!!!!!!!!
My agent also request me to bank in HK$3000 to the agent account for the first 7 months but I refused. I said by law, I have to pay to my maid in full salary and then the agent shut up immediately!!!!!!!!
Is your maid's passport kept by agent? If yes, then you don't have to worry, you maid will pay the agency fee on time to the agency as the maid still wants to get back her passport from the agent!

i think you should pay your maid the full salary and then tell her to transfer the money to the specific account. This is between the agency and the maid, they have to pay the agency if they get a job. Remember to tell your maid to sign for receipt of the full payment of the salary every month. They work very hard for the first 6 months, afterwards, a lot of them suddenly change to being lazy and stupid. I have just fired my indo maid after she paid the agency fee for the first 6 months.....
