I’ve found a poolside BBQ in public swimming pool. It is in ‘Kowloon Boy’ swimming pool. The environment is marvelous.
It is not actually poolside, it is in the pool canteen which is at the top of the spectator stand. You have to walk up and down the 40 steps while you swim and BBQ.
Advantage: swim and BBQ, swimming suit is allowed in the canteen. Clean and tidy. Very few people, only 2 'Lo' are available.
Disadvantage: Only 2 'Lo', its full occasionally. You’d better book in advance. No air-conditioning, but it is acceptable if your body is wet.
One ‘Lo’ use LP gas, quite big, around 2 feet times 1.5 feet. Rental is HKD280 including LP gas.
Another ‘Lo’ is those ordinary one we find in department stores. 1.5 feet diameter. Rental is HKD120. No charcoal included.
Parking: can park 20 minutes only. You have to park at the park entrance’s meters.
Take your own food. Use their drinks. HKD15/head minimum.
