AngieMum - basically we could find all the HK things in the chinese mall. But I know some people still say the qaulity of "dry mushroom, dry scallop" are better in HK. so they smuggle them to Toronto.
not sure how old is your relative - I remembered the first time I came - I brought along the crystal necklace for the tennages, hair pair for the kids.. ear rings for the auntie... they loved those.
冬菇&干堯柱 cannot "official" bring in - so I said "Smuggle".
the crystal could still apply to the female, and the man - I really don't know.
if they've been here for long, they could not tell what's the diff with all the dry sea food...
boy may like the sports things - like sports shoes - HK has the latest style, but guess it will be diff for you to buy for him without knowing his taste.
or the computer online games - Sims city, war games and lots of others.
have you thought about just take him out and buy things for him (let him choose)...
