I had applied a bun bun around the day as your, she had been arrived in mid of Jun, but we had sent a letter with special reasons and request for prompt actions
agent said that most of the maid would arrive at 6th week from your application but I'm not sure
I had sent a letter to Immigration Department on last thursday by registration mail for explaining my situation and need help by the coming maid. I don't know there is any different for yan yan and bun bun.
May I know you had sent a letter by fax or by post? What reasons? I wrote a letter mentioned about my son lived with my 99 and 99 is now feel sick and always need a medical treatment and appointment.
How many days did you got reply from Imm after you had sent a letter? 1000 thanks.......
Is your application for maid new or replacement? There's a difference between them. Also, if your got an old maid without tax policy, this time for your new one, it shouldn't be long. But, if yours is already under the tax policy ($9600 a year), then you're replacing a new one, then, it may take a long process, as long as 6 weeks for Immigration. No matter what reasons you give them, it's long at all. So, you may need to understand the policy first.
Though I've tried to make a direct call to Immigration, fax several times to them, no use at all.
I fax the letter to Immigration department : 2157 9181, reason was also similar as your's, said that BB was taking care by my mother but she was getting sick together with some reference: FU slips....., the dept did reply on the next day and said that the visa approved, asked me to inform the agency for FU actions, bun bun therefore arrived in the coming week
mid of May: approach agency
beginning of Jun: after obtaining the ref. no., I fax a letter to immigration dept.
the maid arrived in mid of Jun
I fired my old Indo maid on 2005-05-03 and employed a new maid on the same day in agency. I've sent a request letter to speed up the application to Imm. Dept. About 14 days later, I got the VCA no. of the new maid and I phoned up Imm. Dept., to request for speed up the application again. The working visa of the maid approved at the end of June. The maid came to my home at early July. ^^
