Help a friend who will immigrate to ask:

IN HK, Credit card has a lot of different welcome offer, rebate, bonus scheme.

What credit card to you use? e.g. HSBC, Royal Bank, etc...

What is the advantages or disadvantages?

here credit card does not have welcome offer, but most of the card have cash rebate, or rewards. however some have them need to pay the annual fee.

CIBC/BMO gold got the point systems toredeem the airmilage

CIBC/Scotia bank, TD and all other major bank got the visa card to cover the travel insurance, car rental insurance etc.

for me, i only use those card that offer cash rebate.. i.e PC financial and the TD rewards cards
