You hotmail mailbox might have been hijacked.
What really happening is that your mailbox was being used to generate (randomly or not) email to others. As some of the email address were no longer exist, thus, bounce back email were being delivered to your mailbox.
Solution
Changed your hotmail password ASAP. Scan your PC and deploy firewall on your own PC.
