i will use 2 table spoon of rice soak with hot water (just slight cover all rice) in a vaccum cup for over 3 hrs. Cook congee in old tradition rice cooker (those with glass cover lei); put all rice including the soak water and add water or soup till the scale 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups. Cook ard 45 mins, the rice will all open and in small bites, good for our 6 mths old bb eat ga la.
