叫工人入廚房吃飯

如果有朋友來，你們會叫工人入廚房吃飯嗎？上次家人來，她仍然同我們一齊吃，如果叫她入廚房吃飯，會不好嗎？

人多都會,咁個廳唔夠地方坐咪會囉。
有次成16人來,我剛剛夠,工人就要入廚房吃飯。

Me too. As my brother advised me the maid cannot eat with us at the same time and the same place, so we ask her to eat after us in the kitchen when she arrived. Sometimes when we are having dinner, she must take care of the baby. Actually, my maid prefers to eat in the kitchen. In the kitchen, she can eat very slowly and enjoy herself. When she eats in the dinning room, she feels that we are watching her and not feeling well with that.

for my family, if only my family is having dinner, she will join us... but she finishes her meal in 3 mins and then help me to feed BB...

but if guests come, she will go back to eat in the kitchen... or take care of my BB and eat afterwards loh.

工人一開始黎我屋企既時候, 已經係响kitchen食, 其實唔覺得有咩問題, 佢都反而想自己食啦, 你方佢好想對住你食咩!

my maid also eats at kitchen and she prefers this. Only in big meals for festivals or her birthday, we invite her to join.

In the normal days, we have lunch and dinner together. It is a chance for me to communicate with her, to know her better, give her a sense of belonging.

For once all of my family member were gathered in my house for dinner that my maid requested to have dinner in the kitchen by her own. However, I refused as I didn't want to "rule out" her from my family.

So far, I am quite satisfied with my maid's performance.
