You need to keep on consult doctor and check the blood RA index. In case, the RA index not drop or increase higher. You should ask for any medicine to lower the rate.
At the same time, you may try to avoid to eat meat but eat more fresh food i.e. fish,vegetable & fruit instead.
In case, your pain is keep on and found happening with both in pair i.e. hand's joints (including fingers) or knees etc.. You may ask doctor to refer you to visit Government's specialist i.e. Q.E.
Since I had RA for more than 12 years and I had been consulting QE for RA specialist for 10 years. I did found myself at the very beginning is at RA index around 30. As I don't realise that it is serious and stop to eat the medicine for more than a year.
I became worser in all my joints both hands and legs. Now I had been replaced both hips and knees' joints within 8 years.
