10 months baby's first trip...

I am planning to take my 10 months old baby for a short trip. Bangkok or Japan 北海道

Please advise :

1. If bangkok, any good hotel you will suggest ? with spacious playground / club house for toddlers ?

2. what about 北海道 ? Japan hotels' beds are very small, is it ok to sleep with baby, too ? any good hotel suggestion ?
