It's a busy place, like Causeway Bay in Hong kong. There are many dept stores around the station, like Seibu, Mitsubishi, Tobu, 0101, etc.
apart from that, just around 10 mins walk from JR station that you could get to Sunshine City, a big shopping mall where you could almost find all the brands you need, like GAP, Uniqlo etc.
There are also many stores along the street, like pharmacy stores (for cosmetics), Sanrio, game centre, etc.
